Job Description:
Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a leading privately held commercial real estate investment, development, and management firm to identify a Future Regional Partner. This unique leadership development opportunity is designed to prepare a high-potential commercial real estate professional to lead the company's expansion into a new market. Through an intensive four-year training program based at the Baltimore headquarters, a participant will gain hands-on experience across every aspect of the firm's vertically integrated platform, including acquisitions, development, construction, leasing, marketing, property management, and tenant improvements. Upon successful completion of the program, the Future Regional Partner will relocate to a newly established market and play a key role in launching and growing the company's regional presence, with the opportunity to participate in future development equity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete rotational assignments across property management, tenant improvements, leasing, acquisitions, construction, and development while demonstrating mastery of key business functions.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate operations, including budgeting, tenant relations, contract negotiations, and asset management.
  • Support leasing activities through market research, tenant prospecting, broker networking, and lease negotiations.
  • Assist with acquisition efforts including site identification, underwriting, due diligence, and purchase agreement review.
  • Participate in construction and development projects, gaining exposure to project budgeting, bidding, permitting, entitlement, and execution processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to understand the strategic, operational, and financial drivers of successful market expansion.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of commercial real estate experience required.
  • Master's Degree in Real Estate or MBA with a real estate concentration preferred; degree must be completed prior to the conclusion of the program.
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate development, investment, and long-term business leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to relocate upon completion of the program and serve as a leader in a newly established regional market.
