Job Description

Leasing Assistant Overview
  • Assist in leasing operations, providing excellent customer service to prospective tenants and current residents.
  • Support the client's leasing team in achieving occupancy goals and maintaining compliance with housing regulations.
  • Handle inquiries, schedule property tours, and process leasing applications efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates to leasing records and databases.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to address tenant concerns promptly.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing leasing agreements and maintaining organized files.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by promoting available units and community amenities.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on housing policies and leasing practices.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Respond to tenant inquiries, providing accurate information about leasing options and community features.
  • Conduct property tours, showcasing available units and amenities to prospective tenants.
  • Process leasing applications, ensuring compliance with housing regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records and tenant information in the database.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Prepare leasing agreements and other documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in marketing efforts, promoting available units and community features effectively.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance leasing operations knowledge.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in business or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leasing or property management experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of housing regulations and leasing practices.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to tenants and prospective residents.
