Job Description
Join our team! At Associated Management, we believe in investing in our employees. We are searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking, & caring sale professional for our leasing consultant position at our Luxury Independent Senior Apartment Community located in Port Huron, Michigan. This leasing position provides personal and proactive customer service to spearhead the marketing of the community to new residents and to create a great environment to our existing residents. Professionally and enthusiastically greeting callers and guests, and providing efficient responses to their information and service needs; Generating leasing traffic through weekly outreach marketing activities and posting daily ads to approved on-line and social media sites; Conducting enjoyable and engaging tours of the property for prospective residents; Assisting team members in inspecting models, available vacancies, tour routes, common areas and grounds; Processing, organizing, and maintaining applicant, move in, and resident paperwork/files; Engaging in daily follow-up with prospective residents and maintaining daily leasing activity reports; Anticipating actions of competing properties by completing frequent market surveys and shopping visits; Assisting team members with planning and attending resident activities; Generating and following up on maintenance service requests; and, Performing other customer service and administrative projects as assigned by the Community Director.
Job requirements:
Strong customer service and sales technique; Ability to close a sale Effective written and oral communication skills; Effective organizational and follow up skills; Self-sufficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher; OneSite experience preferred; and, Must be able to work Saturdays and work a schedule that may vary each week.Job Type:
