Under the direct supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Agent will assist with day-to-day leasing activities including marketing support, lead follow-up, property tours, application processing, and resident move-ins. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is committed to delivering a high-quality leasing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing:
Respond promptly to phone, email, and walk-in leasing inquiries. Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective residents. Present apartment units in a compelling, professional manner. Assist with collecting and reviewing rental applications, verifying applicant information, and preparing lease agreements. Support the Property Manager with lease signings and move-in coordination. Send and process renewal paperwork Set and maintain leasing goals and growth guidelinesMarketing & Outreach:
Help maintain accurate and attractive online listings across multiple platforms. Distribute flyers and promotional materials as needed for marketing events or leasing initiatives. Participate in outreach efforts to attract new residents, including local networking and resident referral programs. Conduct market surveys to keep pulse on market rates and conditions and be able to prepare suggested rental rates Maintain updated leasing photos and videos for marketing purposesResident Relations:
Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents. Assist with resident questions regarding availability, lease terms, amenities, and policies. Participate in new resident orientations and move-in walkthroughs as needed. Assist with resident events and outreach Support Property Manager with resident questions or concerns during leasing period Help grow company credit by obtainingGoogle Reviews Administrative Duties:
Maintain up-to-date records of traffic, leads, applications, and leasing activities in the property management system. Support lease renewal efforts and document tracking. Assist with scheduling inspections and ensuring units are ready for showing or move-in. Conduct routine property inspections to ensure buildings are kept up to standard and are presentable to prospects Implement, track, and maintain leasing checklists and audits to ensure leases are fully completedQualifications:
1-3 years of multifamily leasing experience required Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Comfortable using property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Entrata) and Microsoft Office Suite. Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing compliance (training provided if needed). Professional appearance and demeanor with a high level of dependability. Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings based on leasing needs.Compensation & Benefits:
