In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, marketing, customer service, and legal administrative procedures will ensure a seamless experience for applicants while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Student Housing guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant student housing community environment, utilizing your sales skills and property management knowledge to foster positive relationships and drive occupancy rates. Duties Greet prospective residents warmly, providing detailed information about available units, amenities, and community features to generate interest and facilitate leasing decisions Conduct property tours, highlighting key features and answering questions confidently to enhance customer engagement Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including application intake, data entry into Resman, and preparing lease contracts with accuracy Verify applicant information through background checks, credit reports, and rental history while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing Laws. Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule unit inspections and ensure properties are move-in ready for new tenants Upsell additional services or amenities to prospective residents to maximize occupancy and revenue opportunities while maintaining excellent customer relationships Resolve conflicts or concerns promptly using effective conflict management techniques, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved Experience Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles, preferably within multifamily and student housing communities Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations is required.. Proficiency in property management software; experience with Resman is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, contracts, and legal administrative procedures related to leasing activities Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and in person Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, conflict management, and upselling techniques to meet leasing goals Office experience including data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Join us as a Leasing Consultant where your proactive approach and passion for real estate and student housing will make a meaningful impact on our community.
