  • Full-time Product Listing Specialist — Ecommerce & Marketplace Listings Freedom Tools is hiring a Product Listing Specialist to create and manage accurate product listings across Shopify and our online sales channels, including Whatnot, TikTok, YouTube, eBay, Instagram, and FreedomTools.

We sell premium tools, gear, accessories, and related products through live shows, ecommerce, and online marketplaces. This is not a casual data-entry role. Product listings directly affect customer trust, inventory accuracy, marketplace performance, and company growth. We are looking for someone with extreme attention to detail, strong follow-through, clear communication, and the discipline to work carefully in a fast-moving environment. Purpose of the Role The Product Listing Specialist is responsible for creating accurate, complete, and professional product listings across Freedom Tools' sales channels.
The goal is simple:
Get the right products listed on the right channels with the right information, images, SKU, condition, category, and details. Accuracy matters. A listing mistake can create customer problems, inventory confusion, marketplace issues, and brand damage. What You Will Do Create and update product listings in Shopify. Create or support listings across Whatnot, TikTok, YouTube, eBay, Instagram, and FreedomTools.shop. Enter and verify product titles, descriptions, SKUs, UPCs, model numbers, brands, categories, images, product condition, pricing details, tags, and channel-specific information. Confirm product details with product intake, warehouse, purchasing, or leadership before publishing when information is unclear. Identify missing information, wrong images, bad SKUs, duplicate listings, incorrect conditions, and questionable product data. Help clean up older listings and improve listing quality over time. Work from listing queues, spreadsheets, internal systems, Shopify, and marketplace tools. Follow company listing standards, checklists, and processes. Flag unclear or incomplete products for review instead of guessing. Help move products from received inventory to sellable inventory. Who You Are You are detail-oriented, careful, reliable, and organized. You notice small mistakes that other people miss. You can handle repetitive work without becoming careless. You ask good questions, follow processes, and take ownership of your work. You do not guess when information is unclear. You understand that customer-facing listings must be accurate because customers rely on the information we provide. Required Skills Strong candidates will have experience with several of the following: Shopify or ecommerce product listings Marketplace listings such as eBay, TikTok Shop, Whatnot, Instagram, YouTube, or similar platforms Product data entry SKU, UPC, model number, or inventory data accuracy Writing clear product titles and descriptions Image selection and upload Spreadsheet use Strong computer skills Following checklists and standard procedures Clear written communication Preferred Experience Experience in any of these areas is valuable: Shopify eBay listings TikTok Shop Whatnot YouTube product/content listings Instagram shopping or social commerce Tools, power tools, hardware, knives, outdoor gear, or related products Warehouse or inventory systems Product catalog cleanup Ecommerce operations AI tools such as ChatGPT for drafting or organizing product information Tool knowledge is helpful, but character and attention to detail matter more. We can train the right person on our products and systems. We cannot train someone to care about accuracy if they do not already care. Company Culture Expectations Freedom Tools has high standards. Do not create duplicate or messy listings without review. Do not use wrong images, wrong SKUs, wrong model numbers, or wrong condition details. Do not sacrifice accuracy just to move faster. Mistakes happen. Concealing mistakes or being careless with customer-facing information is not acceptable. What Success Looks Like In the first 30 days, success means you have learned our listing process, understand our standards, can create accurate listings with review, and are helping move products toward sellable status without creating confusion or errors. In the first 60 days, success means you can confidently manage listing work queues, create accurate listings across multiple channels, flag exceptions properly, and help clean up listing issues. Long-term, this role helps Freedom Tools build a cleaner product catalog, stronger online sales channels, better marketplace presence, and a more scalable operation. Compensation Freedom Tools is willing to pay well for the right person.
Compensation range:
$30
  • 40 per hour depending on experience Compensation will depend on skill level, experience, accuracy, and ability to take ownership quickly.
Requirements Must be able to work on-site in Troy, Missouri. Must have strong attention to detail. Must be comfortable working on a computer for most of the day. Must communicate clearly and professionally. Must be reliable and punctual. Must be willing to follow listing standards and checklists. Must be willing to ask questions instead of guessing.
