The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property rentals and ensuring tenant satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of property management, and the ability to negotiate effectively. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for showcasing properties, assisting potential tenants, and maintaining accurate records. Duties Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and provide detailed information about available units. Negotiate lease terms and conditions with potential tenants to secure rental agreements. Manage the application process, including screening applicants and verifying their qualifications. Maintain accurate records of leases, tenant communications, and property maintenance requests using OneSite or similar software. Assist in the coordination of property maintenance and repairs to ensure tenant satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and in-person interactions. Stay informed about local real estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all leasing activities. Collaborate with the property management team to develop marketing strategies for available properties. Qualifications Familiarity with property maintenance processes and requirements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in office software applications; experience with OneSite is a plus. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
