The Leasing Agent will be responsible for leasing residential properties to prospective tenants, as well as maintaining positive relationships with existing tenants. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales and customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a wanting to understand the local housing market.

Key Responsibilities:

Showing available properties to prospective tenants, providing detailed property information, and answering tenant questions Conducting property tours and open houses Handling tenant applications and processing leases Communicating with property managers to ensure proper property maintenance Keeping accurate records of all leasing activity Building and maintaining positive relationships with tenants and community Keeping up-to-date with market trends and competition to ensure that properties are priced competitively Consistently reaching or exceeding leasing and revenue targets Handling tenant complaints and disputes in a professional and timely manner Strong knowledge of property leasing processes, including legal administrative experience and landlord-tenant law. Excellent customer service skills, combined with effective negotiation, to successfully close leases. Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally while maintaining positive relationships. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation, and record keeping.
