In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise will help foster positive relationships, ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and contribute to the overall success of our property community. Earn a competitive hourly rate, plus commission and bonus opportunities Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing comprehensive property tours and answering all questions about leasing options, amenities, and community features Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for applicants Maintain accurate data entry within our property management software Yardi including applicant information, lease details, and maintenance requests Conduct thorough background checks, verify income and employment details Prepare and review lease agreements, contracts, and legal documents while ensuring adherence to Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and address resident concerns promptly Skills Proven experience with property leasing, property management software and real estate administrative tasks Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Ability to negotiate lease terms effectively while maintaining compliance with legal standards Experience in sales, upselling techniques, and contract management within a property or real estate setting Familiarity with legal administrative procedures such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records in CRM Effective communication skills combined with office experience in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while managing multiple priorities efficiently Join us in creating vibrant communities by providing exceptional leasing experiences!
