We're partnering with a respected Manchester-area law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support their Estate Planning and Probate team. $25-28/hr What You'll Do Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to attorneys within the estate planning practice Serve as a first point of contact for prospective and existing clients, helping guide them through next steps Coordinate schedules, arrange meetings, and ensure attorneys are prepared for upcoming appointments Help keep matters on track by monitoring deadlines and maintaining internal tracking systems Prepare client-facing materials and assist with assembling estate planning document packages Organize and maintain records, ensuring files are updated, accessible, and properly stored Draft basic communications and assist with follow-ups to clients, courts, and third parties Support billing-related activities, including helping to prepare and review invoices Handle general office workflow tasks such as document processing, scanning, and correspondence management What You Bring 1-3 years of experience in a legal or professional office setting (estate planning or probate experience is a plus) Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and follow-through A proactive, team-first attitude with the ability to work independently when needed Why You'll Love This Role Competitive hourly compensation Supportive and professional team culture Opportunity to grow your experience within a specialized practice area Stable, full-time position with a well-regarded firm All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
