Responsibilities Greet prospective residents warmly, answer inquiries promptly, and provide comprehensive property tours that highlight community features and amenities Manage the leasing process from application submission to lease signing, ensuring all documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards Utilize Yardi, OneSite, and other property management software to accurately enter data, process applications, and maintain organized records Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property readiness and address resident concerns related to property upkeep or facilities management Upsell available units or upgrades by identifying resident needs and explaining benefits confidently to maximize occupancy and revenue Stay informed on LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and other subsidized housing options to assist diverse applicant needs Handle conflict management professionally by resolving disputes or complaints efficiently while maintaining positive relationships with residents and prospects Experience Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly preferred Demonstrated success in sales, upselling, and customer relationship management within a real estate or office environment Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative processes related to leasing is advantageous Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to negotiate effectively Prior experience handling contracts, legal documentation, data entry, filing systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and office administrative tasks Strong conflict resolution skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Join us as a Leasing Consultant where your enthusiasm fuels our community's growth!
