Leasing Agent

A large, well-established real estate development and property management company is seeking a full-time Leasing Agent for a residential community in Roseland, New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for a polished, energetic, and customer-focused professional who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and creating a positive experience for prospective and current residents. We are looking for someone who is organized, motivated, sales-minded, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

In person - Roseland, NJ Position Summary The Leasing Agent will support the day-to-day leasing process, assist prospective residents from initial inquiry through move-in, and provide outstanding service to current residents. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. Key Responsibilities Greet prospective residents and provide a welcoming, professional first impression Conduct apartment and community tours Respond to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries in a timely and professional manner Assist with applications, lease paperwork, and move-in documentation Support occupancy goals through consistent follow-up and strong customer service Maintain accurate leasing files and records Assist with resident relations, renewals, and retention efforts Help maintain a professional, organized, and inviting office environment Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, friendly, and confident demeanor Sales-minded with the ability to build rapport and convert leads into leases Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Prior leasing, sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred Property management experience is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
