Job Description

We are seeking a Real Estate Associate in our New York office to focus on the real estate aspects of corporate and M&A transactions. The role includes reviewing and negotiating real estate provisions in M&A Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements and Asset Purchase Agreements, conducting real estate due diligence (including lease reviews and abstracts, title, survey and zoning review) and preparing clear due diligence memoranda and reports. The associate will draft and negotiate real estate-related documentation and coordinate with local counsel on title and zoning matters, working closely with our corporate, private equity and finance teams on a wide range of transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience, and strong drafting and analytical skills. U.S. J.D. and admission to the New York State Bar required. Candidate should be class of 2021 - 2023. The base salary range offered for this role will be between $260,000 and $365,000 and represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the firm. The total compensation package for this position may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses and other benefits.
