Accepting applications Assistant Property Manager Are you an experienced Assistant Property Manager looking for a stable opportunity with a well-maintained community? We are seeking a professional and self-motivated Assistant Property Manager to join a 102-unit, 55+ community. This is a unique opportunity to work at a smooth-running property with minimal resident issues and a strong sense of community. The position offers temp-to-perm potential for the right candidate. Because this individual will be the primary office team member on site, prior property management experience is required. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily property operations and office management Support leasing activities, including tours, applications, renewals, and resident retention Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests Handle resident communications and provide exceptional customer service Assist with rent collection, payment processing, and delinquency follow-up Prepare notices, reports, lease documents, and resident correspondence Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations Coordinate with maintenance staff regarding work orders and unit turns Monitor occupancy, move-ins, move-outs, and lease expirations Assist with vendor coordination and service scheduling Conduct property inspections and help maintain curb appeal standards Support marketing efforts and resident engagement initiatives Serve as a resource for residents and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations Fill in for the Property Manager when needed Qualifications Previous Assistant Property Manager experience required Strong leasing, customer service, and resident relations experience Ability to work independently and confidently manage the office Excellent organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with rent collections, lease administration, and resident files Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations Experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, AppFolio, BlueMoon, or similar platforms preferred Reliable transportation and a professional, dependable work ethic What We Offer Competitive pay Weekly pay Medical and dental benefits Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate Opportunity to work in a well-maintained, low-drama community environment Valuable experience with a respected property management team Dress Code Business Casual Apply Today! #Work4BG #ZIPEM2 Once your application is received, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will reach out to discuss the opportunity and next steps.
