We have a Part -Time opportunity for an energetic Apartment Leasing Consultant at our brand new apartment community located in Trotwood, OH. You will be responsible for activities related to leasing and resident management. Recent experience in apartment leasing and Yardi is required. Tax Credit, LIHTC experience required. Leasing Consultant Responsibilities:
Use knowledge of property, community, and comparable properties to overcome prospect objections. Present property & apartments, follow up on undecided prospects. Establish a rapport with & determine the needs of prospects, obtain a commitment to rent from a specified percentage of prospects. Process all applications following tax credit guidelines. Assist in the development of advertising & marketing programs, development of special promotions, and market survey work. Assist in the development of residential retention program & lease renewal procedure. Review and resolve resident complaints and requests. Process database entries accurately, following processes and deadlines. Assist in preparation of the turnover report, move-in/move-out procedures. Schedule maintenance work & maintain a log of resident service requests, bill out billable work orders & follow up on service requests to verify satisfaction.
Skills & Qualification:
Minimum of one year experience in office administration, customer service, sales, hospitality, and/or leasing environment. One year experience with Tax Credit/LIHTC required. High school diploma or GED. Perform basic math calculations, including those involving calculating bank deposits & expenditures.
Computer literacy:
Microsoft Office, internet, email, and general. Multi-tasking & organization. Verbal & written business communication correspondence. Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and own transportation. Pre-employment background check and drug testing. We are an equal opportunity employer, M/F/D/V. •
