Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Apartment Leasing Consultant, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused approach will help prospective residents find their perfect home. In this energetic role, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential tenants, guiding them through the leasing process with professionalism and a positive attitude. Your expertise in property management, lease negotiations, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations will ensure a seamless experience for applicants and uphold the integrity of our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales and administrative skills while making a meaningful impact on residents' lives. Responsibilities Greet prospective residents warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available apartment homes, highlighting features and amenities to foster interest. Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Promote available units through upselling techniques, emphasizing community benefits and tailored options to meet individual needs. Maintain detailed records using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite, including data entry, filing, and updating applicant information. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other relevant regulations during all leasing activities. Handle lease negotiations, contracts, and legal administrative tasks with transparency and professionalism. Address tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person while demonstrating excellent office etiquette and conflict management skills. Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and address resident concerns effectively. Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, conflict resolution, and maintaining accurate records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Foster positive relationships with residents through exceptional customer service and ongoing communication to enhance tenant retention. Experience Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles, ideally within property management or multifamily housing environments. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly preferred. Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC compliance, and facilities management practices. Strong background in sales techniques, upselling strategies, negotiation skills, and contract management. Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, legal administrative tasks, and general administrative support. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated understanding of property maintenance coordination and facilities management processes is a plus. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
