Leasing Agent

We are looking for a capable part-time Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective lessors. The goal is scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. Responsibilities Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants Act as a landlord for property owners and help them navigate the property market Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect customers Confirm rental application data and personal references Stay knowledgeable of the property market status Provide information on all aspects of properties (expansion, zoning, crime etc) Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically Qualities Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to professionally interact with prospects, residents, and vendors Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of leasing, sales, or property management preferred Comfortable answering phones, scheduling tours, and following up with leads Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and professionalism Proficient with computers, email, and property management software Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays if needed Strong attention to detail with lease documents and resident files Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required; prior leasing experience is preferred but not required Social media or marketing experience is a plus

Pay:

$17.00 per hour
