Position Overview:
We are seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of relevant transactional experience to join our Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Acquisitions and dispositions Commercial leasing (retail, office, industrial/flex), landlord or tenant side Financing transactions (debt and/or equity) Development matters (zoning, land use, entitlements, tax abatements, development agreements, declarations/CC&Rs, etc.) Title and survey review/process management
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for commercial real estate transactions, including: Purchase and sale agreements Lease agreements Loan documents Operating agreements Ancillary transaction documents Conduct and manage due diligence for real estate acquisitions, sales, and financings Oversee transaction timelines and closing processes Communicate effectively with clients to understand and achieve their objectives
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar Minimum 1 year of commercial real estate transactional experience at a law firm Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Client-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
