This position is fully commission based and will pay $500 per lease on our entire portfolio . The incumbent must be based in Florida and this role is fully remote, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, customer service, and legal administrative procedures will ensure a seamless experience for tenants while maximizing occupancy rates. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about connecting people with their perfect homes. This commission paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a vibrant real estate environment. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available apartment units, highlighting features and amenities to generate interest. Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, including application screening, credit checks, and background verification. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 programs, providing equal opportunity housing options to all applicants. Maintain accurate records of leasing activities using property management software such as Buildium; handle data entry and filing efficiently. Negotiate lease terms, contracts, and renewals while upholding company policies and legal standards related to landlord-tenant law. Address tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and conflict management when needed. Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and ensure units are ready for new tenants; assist with property maintenance documentation as required. Requirements Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles, with a strong understanding of property management operations. Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing regulations. Proficiency in Buildium, stessa, rent manager, or similar property management software; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Strong legal administrative experience related to contracts, lease agreements, and landlord-tenant law. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective phone etiquette and negotiation abilities. Ability to handle conflict management professionally while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and team members. Office experience including data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks; familiarity with facilities management is advantageous.
