Job Description
44 Oak Capital (www.44Oak.com) a private debt and equity firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Originator. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating commercial and private real estate loans (bridge/hard money) and business loans. The Originator will work very closely with senior management and brokers to secure staple financing opportunities. The position is hybrid/remote. Main Responsibilities Manage and analyze inbound commercial real estate deals. Assist senior management in generating new business through relationship building (brokers), direct marketing, attending industry events, social media interaction and use of technology platforms. Research, analyze and explore new market opportunities and business development leads. Analyze and place commercial real estate deals for either internal or external funding. Work with loan processors and collect any documents needed to execute the commercial real estate deals. Build good relationships with capital partners to accurately submit the deals for approval. Assist in preparation and distribution of deal pitch decks, marketing materials, offering memorandum, and transaction descriptions for pitches and other qualification presentations. Perform loan sizing, analysis and preliminary underwrite the deals. Interact with existing and prospective clients, capital sources and other industry professionals. Assist senior management with origination,analysis and execution of private equity deals in hospitality real estate deals acquisitions. Generate sales and build broker relationships nationwide. Providing financial analysis support. Main Experience 1-3 years of commercial real estate experience in advisory, banking or sales. Bachelor's degree in finance or commercial real estate preferred. Prior experience or familiarity with commercial mortgage loan types and structures or demonstrated ability to be a fast learner. Analytics with hunter and execution mentality. Desire to work alongside senior Origination professionals with a longer-term goal of developing your own origination business. Strong communication skills and comfort level with outbound calling, lead generation and marketing. Competent modeling skills and experience with Excel, Word and Google products. High attention to detail in preparation of analytical assessments, marketing material and correspondence. Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and productively during time sensitive situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Independent worker with a team player attitude. Flexible attitude with the ability to handle change effectively. Desire to work hard and to learn. Availability for North American travel (for conferences, seminars, events), if needed.
