Job Description
Job Overview Gray Property Group is seeking a licensed real estate agent to assist with leasing for a 28-unit multifamily property in Sarasota, Florida. This is a very part-time, commission-based opportunity ideal for a newly licensed agent looking to gain leasing experience or an active agent seeking a flexible side opportunity. This role is focused on leasing performance. The primary objective is to generate qualified renter leads, conduct showings, and convert prospects into signed leases with strong tenants. Compensation Commission only $500 per signed lease Opportunity for increased commission based on leasing performance, speed of lease-up, and quality of tenant placement Sliding scale compensation may be considered for high-performing candidates Schedule Very part-time Approximately 5-6 hours per week maximum Flexible schedule with availability for prospect communication and local showings Responsibilities Generate qualified renter leads through proactive prospecting and lead generation Respond to and follow up with leasing inquiries in a timely and professional manner Pre-screen prospective tenants for fit and qualification Coordinate and schedule property tours Conduct in-person showings at a 28-unit multifamily property in Sarasota Provide leasing updates and pipeline visibility as needed Experience Active Florida real estate license required Strong communication and follow-up skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently Comfortable with prospecting, lead generation, and outreach Professional, organized, and responsive Reliable transportation required for local showings Prior leasing experience preferred but not required This role is best suited for: Newly licensed agents looking to gain hands-on leasing experience Agents seeking a flexible, supplemental income opportunity Self-motivated individuals comfortable with performance-based compensation Candidates who understand leasing is a sales-driven role that requires strong follow-through and conversion Performance Expectations This is a results-driven position. Generating qualified leasing prospects that convert into signed leases is a core requirement of the role. Compensation is directly tied to performance, with upside for candidates who can quickly fill units with quality tenants. Consistent inability to generate qualified leads, maintain productive follow-up, or convert prospects into signed leases may result in termination.
