Role Description The Funding Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the accurate and timely funding of real estate transactions. On a day-to-day basis, this role reviews closing packages, verifies documentation, and ensures all funding conditions and requirements are met prior to disbursement. The Funding Specialist coordinates with internal teams, lenders, brokers, and borrowers to confirm balancing, resolve discrepancies, and obtain necessary funding approvals. The role includes preparing and balancing with lender funding documents, updating internal systems, and maintaining clear records to support compliance and audit standards. This position also involves proactive communication with clients and partners to provide status updates, answer questions, and help ensure a smooth closing experience. Qualifications Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to review documents, reconcile figures, and identify discrepancies. Experience in funding, escrow, or related real estate and title processes, for a title company or agency, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to explain funding requirements and timelines to internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency with common office software and title/escrow or loan processing systems; ability to learn new tools quickly. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment. Knowledge of real estate, title, or mortgage industry practices preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
