Pay will be discussed in person. Compensation may include hourly or salary pay, plus commission or performance-based bonuses depending on experience and role fit. About the Role We are hiring a motivated, bilingual Loan Officer Assistant / Loan Partner to support a growing mortgage branch. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, career-driven, detail-oriented, and interested in growing within the mortgage industry. You will work directly with the Branch Manager and loan team to help structure files, communicate with borrowers, gather documentation, manage loan milestones, and keep the loan process moving from application to closing. This is not just a clerical position. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the business, take ownership, solve problems, and become a key part of a high-performing mortgage team. Key Responsibilities Assist the Branch Manager and loan team with active mortgage files from application through closing Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, title companies, insurance agents, and internal operations teams Collect and review borrower documentation, including paystubs, bank statements, tax returns, IDs, insurance documents, and other required items Help prepare files for submission to processing and underwriting Follow up with borrowers and referral partners to keep the loan moving Track loan milestones, deadlines, conditions, and outstanding documents Help explain basic loan process steps to clients in English and Spanish Maintain organized notes, task lists, and file updates Support lead follow-up, pre-approval preparation, and client onboarding Assist with post-approval conditions and closing coordination Provide a high level of service and professionalism to clients and referral partners Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Bilingual in English and Spanish Self-motivated and career-driven Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable communicating by phone, text, and email Able to multitask and manage multiple files at once Professional, reliable, and proactive Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Interested in learning mortgage guidelines, loan structuring, and sales support Able to follow systems while also thinking independently Strong with follow-up and accountability Preferred Experience Mortgage, real estate, banking, sales support, or administrative experience is preferred, but the right attitude and work ethic matter most. Experience with any of the following is a plus: Mortgage loan files Loan applications Borrower documentation FHA, Conventional, VA, or USDA loans Encompass, ARIVE, LendingPad, or other mortgage platforms Real estate transaction coordination Client-facing communication Requirements Must be bilingual in English and Spanish Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines Comfortable using email, CRM systems, PDFs, online portals, and basic office software Must be dependable, coachable, and professional Must be able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive client information Growth Opportunity This position has room for growth.
