$200,000 $215,000 annually (depending on experience) About the Opportunity We are recruiting for a Mid-Level Litigation Associate with significant experience in real estate litigation to join a well-established law firm. This position focuses primarily on real estate disputes and litigation while also supporting broader business litigation matters. The firm represents a diverse client base including real estate developers, investors, entrepreneurs, middle-market businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. The role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment delivering sophisticated legal services. Position Overview The Litigation Associate will manage real estate litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution, working closely with partners and clients to develop strategic litigation approaches. The ideal candidate has strong research, writing, and analytical skills and can independently manage complex matters. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research and detailed case analysis to support litigation strategies Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with minimal supervision Prepare for and participate in hearings, settlement negotiations, and trials Develop litigation strategies and provide recommendations on case direction Collaborate with attorneys across litigation practice groups Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active membership in the State Bar of California 6+ years of litigation experience with a focus on real estate disputes Strong knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure, Evidence Code, Civil Code, and Business & Professions Code Ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills Strong written and oral communication abilities Preferred Experience Business or commercial litigation experience Experience handling complex real estate disputes Trial preparation and courtroom experience Ability to anticipate litigation issues and develop strategic solutions Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $200,000 $215,000 Medical, dental, and vision insurance Disability insurance Employee Assistance Program 401(k) retirement plan Student loan repayment assistance Paid parental leave Flexible teleworking options No-accrual vacation policy
