Reverse & Forward Mortgage Post Closer We are seeking an experienced Reverse & Forward Mortgage Post Closer to join our Operations team. This position is responsible for reviewing closed loan files, ensuring accuracy and compliance, managing post-closing conditions, facilitating investor delivery, and supporting the timely completion of all post-closing activities for both reverse and forward mortgage products. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mortgage operations, including post-closing, funding, and investor delivery processes, and can contribute across multiple areas of the closing function. While the primary focus of this role is post-closing, candidates with prior funding experience are highly valued, as they may be called upon to assist with funding activities during periods of increased volume, team coverage, or operational needs. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years of mortgage post-closing experience. Experience with both Forward and Reverse Mortgage products preferred. Previous mortgage funding experience preferred. Working knowledge of FHA-insured HECM loans, conventional, government, and non-QM loan programs. Experience reviewing closing packages, title policies, recorded documents, trailing documents, and investor delivery requirements. Proficiency with Encompass, ReverseVision, or similar mortgage systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and support various operational functions as needed. Knowledge of agency, investor, and warehouse bank post-closing requirements. Primary Responsibilities Review closed loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company, investor, and regulatory requirements. Manage post-closing conditions and clear outstanding deficiencies. Ensure timely receipt and review of recorded documents, title policies, and other trailing documents. Prepare and deliver loan files to investors and government agencies as required. Track and resolve post-closing exceptions and suspense items. Maintain compliance with FHA, HUD, investor, and company guidelines. Assist with quality control reviews and audit requests. Support both reverse and forward mortgage operations as needed. Additional Responsibilities Provide occasional support to the funding team, including reviewing funding conditions and assisting with loan funding activities when necessary. Cross-train and collaborate with other Operations team members to ensure continuity of workflow and service levels. Assist with special projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives as assigned. Support departmental goals related to loan quality, turn times, and investor delivery performance.
Pay:
$32.00 - $34.00 per hour
