SWFL Insurance is seeking a licensed Property & Casualty Sales Representative to join our Protégé Program —a structured, mentorship-driven role designed for producers who want to sharpen their skills, grow their book of business, and build a long-term career with a respected independent agency. Who This Role Is For This opportunity is a strong fit for someone who is: Licensed in Property & Casualty (Life & Health a plus) Reliable, professional, and growth-oriented Coachable and open to feedback Comfortable networking and building referral relationships Motivated by structure, standards, and measurable goals Looking for long-term career advancement—not just a job Candidate Requirements Active Florida P&C license Minimum 2 years of sales experience or recent graduate of an insurance program Ability to pass a background check Meets profiling and behavioral requirements Strong communication, follow-up, and time-management skills What You'll Be Doing Quoting and selling personal and commercial lines insurance Prospecting through referrals, networking, and targeted outreach Attending networking and industry events Building and managing a professional book of business Learning and following SWFL's new business and renewal processes Working closely with an assigned mentor agent and leadership team Mentor Agent Support Each Protégé is paired with an experienced SWFL mentor who: Has a proven production track record Has been with SWFL Insurance for at least 12 months Actively supports training, accountability, and skill development Helps guide real-world sales strategy and client conversations Why This Role Wins Mentorship that matters
