Job Description

Property Manager & Leasing Agent Paint Creek & Village East Apartments Lake Orion, Michigan About Us Paint Creek & Village East Apartments are locally owned apartment communities located in Lake Orion, Michigan. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of both communities and help provide an excellent living experience for our residents. Position Summary The Property Manager will be responsible for leasing, rent collection, resident communications, vendor coordination, and overall property operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for residents and plays a key role in maintaining occupancy, resident satisfaction, and the appearance of the communities. Key Responsibilities Conduct apartment tours and manage the leasing process from inquiry to move-in Process rental applications and complete lease paperwork Collect rent and monitor delinquent accounts Communicate with residents regarding questions, concerns, maintenance requests, and community policies Coordinate maintenance work orders with maintenance staff and outside vendors Perform move-in and move-out inspections Maintain resident files and property records Assist with marketing and resident retention efforts Ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations Monitor property appearance and report issues requiring attention Prepare basic reports and communicate regularly with ownership Qualifications Previous property management, leasing, customer service, or administrative experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle resident concerns professionally and respectfully Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and property management software
Pay:
Up to $25.00 per hour
