Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Attorney to join our growing team in Madison, AL. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney to gain valuable experience in title insurance, real estate law, and also develop their legal career. The role will primarily involve handling real estate closings, reviewing title abstract reports, preparing title commitments, drafting legal documents, and conducting curative title work. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly efficient in multi-tasking, and able to communicate effectively with clients. Conduct Real Estate Closings, ensuring all necessary paperwork is explained, and completed accurately and efficiently. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on title insurance and real estate matters, ensuring they understand the process, their rights and, their obligations. Reviewing Title Abstract Reports and preparing Title Commitments. Drafting Legal documents such as contracts, deeds, mortgages, loan documents, releases, etc. Conduct and complete curative title work. Standard business law matters for clients, such as forming LLCs and Operating Agreements Work closely with other attorneys, coordinators, processors, closers, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service to clients. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with changes in real estate law and title insurance best practices.Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Alabama state bar and in good standing. Strong interest in real estate law and title insurance, and a desire to build a career in this field. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask multiple files and clients. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work. Strong social, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues.
