The position blends traditional real estate sales with hands-on hospitality and property management, creating multiple income streams and long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate is both sales-driven and operationally strong, with attention to detail and a customer-service mindset. Responsibilities Real Estate Sales Generate and manage buyer and seller leads Conduct listing appointments and secure new listings Assist buyers with property searches, showings, and negotiations Manage transactions from contract to closing Maintain consistent communication with clients and prospects Participate in marketing efforts including open houses, networking, and social media Short-Term Rental Management Oversee day-to-day operations of short-term rental properties Manage listings on platforms such as Hostaway, Airbnb, and VRBO Optimize pricing, occupancy, and listing performance Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and vendor services Handle guest communication, bookings, and issue resolution Ensure properties are properly stocked, staged, and guest-ready Monitor reviews and maintain high guest satisfaction ratings Track income, expenses, and owner reporting Ensure compliance with local ordinances and regulations Qualifications Active Illinois Real Estate Broker License (required) Experience or strong interest in short-term rental management or hospitality Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to problem-solve quickly and handle urgent situations Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Reliable transportation Highly responsive and reliable 24/7, with a commitment to timely communication for guest needs Compensation Structure Commission-based income from real estate sales The short term rental management is compensated with a hourly rate to be negotiated in person, based on around 20 hours of work per week Opportunity to grow income through portfolio expansion Training and Support Access to brokerage marketing systems, including a full-time content creator available to you!
