Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM BG Staffing is proud to partner with a well-established property in Newport, Rhode Island to identify a detail-oriented and service-driven Leasing Professional with LIHTC/affordable housing experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a leasing professional who thrives in an organized, fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting residents and maintaining compliance in an affordable housing community. Position Overview The Leasing Professional will be responsible for managing daily leasing activities while ensuring strict adherence to LIHTC and affordable housing compliance standards. This role serves as a key point of contact for prospective and current residents and requires exceptional organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Conduct all leasing activities including touring apartments, processing applications, and executing lease agreements Ensure full compliance with LIHTC and affordable housing regulations, including income certifications and documentation Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records Provide outstanding customer service to prospective and current residents Assist with waitlists, renewals, and resident communications Collaborate with the site team to support occupancy goals and operational efficiency Uphold company policies, Fair Housing laws, and property standards at all times Qualifications LIHTC / Affordable Housing experience is required Prior leasing experience in a residential or multifamily environment Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively What We Offer Competitive pay at $23.00 per hour Stable Monday-Friday daytime schedule Opportunity to work with a respected staffing partner in the property management industry Supportive and professional work environment If you are an experienced leasing professional with a solid understanding of LIHTC compliance and are looking for your next opportunity in a beautiful coastal location, we encourage you to apply today.
