Job Description

Position Overview Whitney Management Corp. is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our multifamily team in Germantown, Tennessee. This is a fast-paced, resident-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys sales, customer service, and helping prospective residents find their next home. The Leasing Consultant plays a key role in driving occupancy, delivering exceptional resident experiences, and supporting the daily operations of the community.
Pay:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour + leasing commissions (if applicable) We offer a competitive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-paid life insurance and AD&D Voluntary employee-paid life insurance and AD&D coverage for employees and eligible dependents Short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and additional ancillary insurance options 401(k) with a 4% company match Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays One paid birthday holiday during your birthday month Bereavement leave Essential Responsibilities Greet prospective residents and provide professional community tours Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins in a timely and professional manner Conduct leasing presentations and effectively communicate community features, amenities, pricing, and availability Process rental applications and supporting documentation accurately Assist with lease preparation, renewals, and move-in paperwork Maintain accurate prospect and resident records in property management software Follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into signed leases Support occupancy and leasing goals through proactive outreach and follow-up Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents Assist residents with general questions, service request intake, and community-related concerns Conduct routine property walks to identify curb appeal or maintenance concerns Support resident retention initiatives and renewal efforts Assist with marketing efforts, outreach, and community events as needed Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
1-2+ years of leasing, sales, customer service, or multifamily housing experience Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations Strong sales and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and follow-up skills Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings based on business needs Professional appearance and demeanor Bilingual skills are a plus but not a requirement Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including walking the property, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds Employment Requirements Final candidates may be subject to pre-employment background screening and drug testing in accordance with applicable law and company policy.
