Summary:
As part of the legal community since 1975, Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC provides the highest caliber legal counsel in a broad range of practice areas. Our Firm is seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant who will provide support for multiple attorneys within its Jackson, Tennessee office. Successful candidates should have demonstrated experience with searching real estate titles as well as handling real estate closing packages. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, solid proofreading skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Responsibilities:
Draft and proofread legal documents and other documents as requested by supervising attorney(s). Assist attorneys with preparation and filing of bankruptcy related pleadings (creditor only). Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, and managing attorney calendar(s). Other duties may be assigned by supervisor(s).
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in the legal assistant or paralegal field. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, solid proofreading skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
