Job Description

Our Practice. Our Real Estate Litigation team represents clients in high-stakes disputes involving commercial real estate transactions, development projects, and property rights. We work with owners, developers, landlords, tenants, and investors to resolve complex conflicts that arise when real estate deals, projects, or partnerships do not go as planned. Our matters often sit at the intersection of real estate and complex commercial litigation, requiring strong litigation skills and a practical understanding of the real estate and construction industry. As the practice continues to grow, we are seeking a litigation associate to help support and expand this work. Join Us. We are seeking a litigation associate with one (1) to three (3) years of experience to join our Nashville office. Prior experience with real estate, construction, or environmental litigation is a plus, but it is not required. The ideal candidate will be an excellent litigator with strong research, writing, and analytical skills who is interested in developing a practice focused on real estate and related commercial disputes. Associates in this role will work closely with partners on a wide variety of matters, including disputes involving purchase and sale agreements, easements, boundary disputes, title issues, development projects, construction matters, financing arrangements, and commercial lease disputes. Associates will have meaningful responsibility on matters, opportunities for direct client interaction, and significant involvement in case strategy. The associate may also support the firm's broader commercial litigation practice as needed. Candidates must have excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong academic credentials. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active law license in a U.S. jurisdiction in good standing required. For consideration, please submit your resume and transcript here. Not accepting third-party submissions at this time. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ GIH-GBL_florecruit-florecruit_bassberry_MjQyMTh-YktVSktoV3lXbVNVNHJrUVQ3ZXM3WDBxV2VFanlM
