Leasing Agent•Garland Salary•$18 A leasing agent (or leasing consultant) acts as the primary liaison between property managers and prospective/current tenants, aiming to maximize occupancy and revenue. They are responsible for advertising, showing units, processing applications, signing leases, and handling resident renewals, requiring strong customer service, sales, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Sales:
Advertise vacancies, respond to leads (email, phone, text), conduct property tours, and close leasing agreements.
Resident Screening:
Process rental applications, verify income/references, and perform credit/background checks.
Lease Administration:
Prepare, sign, and renew lease agreements, ensuring compliance withFair Housing laws.
Administrative Duties:

Resident Relations:
