You will be the friendly face and trusted advisor for individuals seeking leasing opportunities, guiding them through the application process while ensuring compliance with fair housing laws. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster positive relationships and contribute to vibrant, thriving communities. Duties Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing detailed property tours and answering all inquiries with enthusiasm. Manage the leasing process from initial contact through lease signing, including data entry into property management systems like Yardi or OneSite. Prepare, review, and negotiate lease agreements, contracts, and related legal documents with precision and transparency. Conduct thorough background checks, landlord-tenant law compliance reviews, and coordinate with legal administrative teams when necessary. Maintain organized filing systems for tenant records, lease documentation, and maintenance requests; utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking property maintenance needs. Handle conflict management professionally by addressing tenant concerns promptly while upholding policies related to property leasing and landlord responsibilities. Upsell available amenities or lease options to maximize occupancy rates while providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks efficiently. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette during inquiries and follow-ups; foster strong customer relationships through effective communication. Experience Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles, ideally within multifamily or affordable housing environments. Proficiency in property management software ,experience with data entry, filing systems, and office administrative tasks. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle diverse tenant interactions professionally. Previous experience in sales or upselling strategies within a real estate or property management setting is a plus. Ability to navigate office environments confidently while maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and professionalism.
