We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team and be the first friendly face that residents and prospects meet. Position Summary As a Leasing Agent, you'll be the go-to person for showing apartments, helping qualified applicants find their next home, renewing leases, and supporting overall property operations. You'll have a key role in creating a positive first impression and maintaining a smooth, professional leasing process. What You'll Do Greet visitors, prospective tenants, and current residents with a warm, professional demeanor. Provide tours of available units and community amenities, along with brochures and information. Follow up on leads and match prospects with units that fit their needs and budget. Keep model and available apartments clean, fresh, and ready to show. Assist in processing applications, including background and credit checks. Prepare leasing documents and coordinate move-in dates and materials. Maintain a waitlist of interested prospects when needed. Tour the property daily to ensure it's neat, attractive, and in good repair. Manage shared facilities (fitness center, recreation areas, laundry rooms, etc.). Collect rent payments, security deposits, and application fees. Assist with administrative tasks including filing, recordkeeping, and basic bookkeeping. Develop and maintain promotional offers to attract new renters. Keep residents informed of any updates or changes to their leases. Build strong relationships with current residents for personalized service. Follow up on completed work orders to ensure satisfaction. Deliver notices or flyers to resident doors as needed. Support marketing initiatives to attract prospective tenants. What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality with a natural ability to make people feel welcome. Strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills. Excellent communication—both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Yardi experience a plus). High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 1 year of leasing or related experience preferred. Being Bilingual is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to sit at a desk, work on a computer, walk the property, and give tours. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally.
