Job Description
Licensed Home Inspector (Contract Position) Precision Property Inspections Precision Property Inspections is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Texas Professional Inspector or Real Estate Inspector to join our growing team serving South Austin, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and surrounding areas. This is a part-time or full-time 1099 contract position for an inspector who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, thorough inspections, and professional communication. About Us At Precision Property Inspections, customer service is our number one priority. We believe in treating every client and agent with professionalism, respect, and clear communication. Our goal is to provide thorough, unbiased inspections while helping clients understand their homes and make informed decisions. Responsibilities Perform residential home inspections in accordance with TREC Standards of Practice. Identify and document deficiencies accurately and objectively. Complete inspection reports using Spectora software. Communicate findings clearly with clients, agents, and builders. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times. Operate inspection tools including thermal imaging equipment, moisture meters, ladders, and drones when applicable. Manage daily schedules and travel to inspection appointments throughout the service area. Requirements Active Texas Professional Inspector or Real Estate Inspector license. Previous home building, construction, or related industry experience required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Willingness to travel approximately 20-100 miles per day depending on inspection location. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Comfortable accessing attics, roofs, and crawlspaces when conditions permit. Must wear company-provided attire during inspection appointments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Spectora software. New construction inspection experience. Thermal imaging experience. Drone experience. Strong understanding of residential building systems and construction practices. Compensation Competitive per-inspection compensation. Flexible schedule.
