Minnix Property Management is hiring a Leasing Coordinator to help keep our leasing team moving, our rental homes visible, and future residents excited about finding the right place to live. This role is a great fit for someone who likes people, details, problem-solving, teamwork, and variety. One hour, you may be following up with a hot lead. The next, you may be updating a property listing, helping with a move-in, checking on an application, or making sure a resident gets the answer they need. No two days look exactly the same, and that is part of what makes this job fun. Why This Job Is Different This is not a boring desk job where you do the same thing all day. You will be in the middle of the action: helping properties get leased, keeping applicants moving forward, making sure listings look good, helping residents and owners get answers, and supporting the team so the leasing process stays organized. You will learn how property management really works from the inside: leasing, applications, move-ins, renewals, marketing, resident communication, owner updates, and the systems that keep everything running. For someone early in their career, this is a launchpad. For someone experienced, this is a chance to bring your skills to a fast-moving team and take ownership of meaningful leasing support. What You'll Help With You will help keep leasing organized and moving. That may include communicating with prospects, current residents, and owners; helping with renewals, applications, move-ins, and rental verifications; updating AppFolio and ShowMojo; and making sure the team has accurate information. This role is a mix of communication, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving.The goal is simple:
help people get answers, keep details organized, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. What a Good Day Looks Like A good day in this role looks like: Leasing calls are answered with a helpful attitude Voicemails, emails, texts, and chats are handled quickly Prospects, residents, and owners get clear answers Leads are followed up with before they go cold AppFolio notes are clear enough that anyone on the team can understand what happened Listings are accurate and ready for prospects to view Applications, move-ins, renewals, and verifications keep moving The leasing team can count on you You communicate well with coworkers and help keep the day moving in a positive direction You will not be expected to know everything on day one. You will be expected to care, communicate, learn quickly, collaborate well with the team, and follow through. What You Need This role requires: Active Texas Real Estate License Full-time availability in Lubbock, Texas Strong communication skills by phone, email, text, and in person Comfort learning and using systems like AppFolio and ShowMojo Good organization and follow-up Attention to detail A professional, friendly, dependable work style Ability to manage several tasks and conversations in one day Ability to communicate and collaborate well with team members Willingness to ask questions, take ownership, and help the team Experience That Helps These are helpful, but not required: College degree or some college coursework Leasing or property management experience Customer service, sales, hospitality, office, or operations experience Experience with AppFolio or ShowMojo Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills Knowledge of Lubbock neighborhoods Interest in growing in real estate or property management You'll Like This Job If You like a workday with movement, people, and problem-solving. You can switch from a phone call to a lease update to a resident question to a prospect follow-up without losing your place. You like being the person who helps things move forward.
