Part-Time Leasing Consultant Location:
Rockport, TX Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Consultant to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the community's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong sales skills, and is committed to delivering an exceptional resident experience from first tour through lease renewal. Key Responsibilities Leasing & Sales Greet, qualify, and assist prospective residents Conduct community tours and showcase apartment homes Process applications, including credit and background screenings Prepare lease agreements and coordinate smooth move-ins Follow up with prospects to convert leads into leases Resident Relations & Retention Provide excellent customer service to current residents Support lease renewal efforts and ensure timely completion of renewal documentation Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns Marketing & Outreach Assist with marketing initiatives to drive traffic and occupancy Execute outreach efforts such as resident referral and employer programs Stay informed on local market trends and competitor activity Operations & Administration Use property management software to track availability, traffic, and leasing activity Maintain accurate resident and prospect records Prepare reports and complete administrative tasks as needed Property Presentation Ensure model units, amenities, and leasing office meet company standards Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate with maintenance for readiness Organizational Responsibilities Follow company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Maintain a safe work environment and report any safety concerns Contribute ideas to improve community operations and performance Participate in training and stay current with industry trends Working Conditions Primarily office-based with regular outdoor activity Exposure to varying weather conditions and property environments Physical Requirements Ability to walk the property and access all areas Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods Lift up to 20 lbs independently (50 lbs with assistance) Ability to travel locally as needed Schedule Requirements Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays Qualifications Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency (property management software experience a plus) Professional, organized, and detail-oriented Why Join Us?
