Leasing Consultant

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the leasing process, ensuring that prospective residents receive exceptional service while adhering to all relevant regulations and policies. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, knowledge of property leasing, and an understanding of fair housing laws. Duties Assist prospective tenants with inquiries about available units and leasing terms. Conduct property tours, highlighting key features and benefits to potential residents. Process rental applications and conduct background checks in compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements using property management software. Collaborate with the management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns and resolving issues promptly. Utilize Resman for managing resident information and lease documentation. Skills Strong understanding of property leasing processes and legal requirements, including Fair Housing regulations. Experience with customer relationship management systems to enhance resident interactions. Proficiency in Resman management software is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with potential tenants and team members. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building positive relationships with residents.
