Leasing Consultant Oldham Goodwin Texas City, TX Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Description Performs activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and lease renewals. Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation and completing move-in paperwork and procedures.

Community Manager/ Assistant Community Manager Essential Job Functions:
Shows and leases apartments to prospective residents. Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications. Accompanies prospects to apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available facilities, such as swimming pool and fitness center, location of shopping centers, services available, and terms of lease, move-in dates, apartment availability and final lease closing. Completes lease form or agreement, collects rental deposit, application and administrative fees on all units. Inspect condition of premises periodically and arrange for necessary maintenance; prepares and maintains model unit. Compile market surveys from competitive apartment communities. May compose flyers and advertisements. May contact prospect prior residences and employers for verification of rental history and employment verification. Adheres to all Fair Housing requirements and all Oldham Goodwin Group leasing policies. Answer and address resident inquiries and issues; provides outstanding customer service. Availability to work evenings and weekends according to business needs of the company. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High school diploma or equivalent. Tax Credit experience required. Prefer 1-3 years' experience in the field or related area. Computer skills to include Microsoft programs and Windows. OneSite or comparable web-based operating system skills recommended. Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures applicable to field. Lift and carry up to 25lbs. Good verbal and written communication skills.
