Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of property management, and the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and tenants. Duties Assist in the leasing process by conducting property tours and showcasing available units to prospective tenants. Manage tenant applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with Fair Housing regulations. Maintain accurate records of leases, contracts, and tenant communications using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. Conduct regular market research to stay informed about local rental trends and pricing strategies. Uphold knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Section 8 guidelines, and LIHTC requirements to ensure compliance in all leasing activities. Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records for efficient office operations. Engage in upselling additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction and increase revenue. Experience Candidates should possess a background in property management or real estate administration, with experience in the following areas considered beneficial: Strong negotiation skills for contract discussions and lease agreements. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to effectively handle tenant disputes. Previous experience in customer service roles emphasizing relationship management and phone etiquette. Administrative experience that includes data entry, filing systems, and general office duties. Understanding of facilities management principles related to property maintenance.
