Leasing Consultant Praxia Multifamily Provo, UT Job Details Full-time $16 - $19 an hour 2 days ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Qualifications Balance sheet creation Fair Housing regulations Administrative experience Attention to detail Marketing Full Job Description Position Summary The Leasing Agent is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue at assigned communities through effective leasing, prospect management, and customer experience. This role serves as the first impression of the property, representing the community's brand while delivering a high level of service to prospective and current residents. Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Prospect Management Respond to all leasing inquiries quickly and professionally through calls, texts, emails, and online platforms Schedule and conduct property tours, highlighting features, benefits, and community lifestyle Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to convert leads into applications and signed leases Track and manage all prospect activity within the CRM and ensure accurate documentation Assist prospects with applications and guide them through the approval process Send lease agreements, addenda, and ensure timely execution of all leasing documents Marketing & Traffic Generation Ensure listings are accurate, complete, and optimized across all marketing platforms Provide feedback on pricing, incentives, and market conditions based on leasing activity Support community-specific branding efforts by representing the property identity in all interactions Monitor lead sources and help identify opportunities to improve conversion rates Resident Experience & Retention Support Deliver a high-quality customer experience from first contact through move-in Conduct follow-ups with prospects who have not yet leased and re-engage lost leads Communicate with current residents regarding renewals and assist in renewal conversations Make outbound calls to residents approaching lease expiration to encourage renewals Property Presentation & Site Operations Ensure model units and common areas are clean, presentable, and ready for showings Report any property condition concerns that could impact leasing success Conduct periodic site walks to ensure curb appeal and community standards are maintained Coordinate with maintenance and site teams to ensure units are ready for move-in Administrative & Compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records, applications, and lease files Ensure all leasing activities comply with Fair Housing laws and company policies Complete required tasks, follow-ups, and documentation within company systems Support reporting needs related to leasing activity, traffic, and conversion metrics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Lead-to-showing conversion rate Showing-to-application conversion rate Application-to-lease conversion rate Days on market / vacancy days Renewal conversion rate (supporting role) Response time to new inquiries Qualifications 1-3 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport and influence decision-making Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up habits Comfortable using property management software and CRM systems Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices preferred Core Competencies Sales mindset with a focus on closing and urgency Strong follow-through and accountability Customer-focused with a service-oriented approach Ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities simultaneously Alignment with Praxia's property-first philosophy and Vision's core values Work Environment & Expectations Combination of on-site property presence and field work across assigned communities Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet leasing demand Active engagement with prospects and residents through multiple communication channels Consistent use of company systems to manage tasks, communication, and reporting
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
