Real Estate/Occupancy Agreement Specialist Req #8032 Alexandria, VA, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Monday, May 18, 2026 at 1:00 AM SpecPro Professional Services (SPS) is seeking a U.S. National Capitol Region-based Real Estate/Occupancy Agreement Specialist to support U.S. Federal Protective Service (FPS) offices . This position is intended for local hires residing in the National Capitol Region as employee must be able to report to the Alexandria or Springfield locations when required . This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Supports the development of real estate and/or occupancy agreements in compliance with federal space utilization policies and regulations. Supports the formulation of build-out and tenant responsibility agreements in support of FPS space relocations. Provides strategic recommendations for portfolio optimization and cost savings to aid governmental decision making.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to analyze and support the development of real estate and occupancy agreements is required. Strong oral and written communication abilities required. Working knowledge of Tririga and ServiceNow is highly desirable. Education, Experience and certifications: Minimum 7 years of experience working for/with federal Government required. Active CCIM, active FAC-C certification for Leasing Contracting Officers, within the last 5 years, or equivalent, preferred . Bachelor's degree in relevant degree program preferred. Work Location Must reside within the U.S. National Capitol Region May operate in a hybrid telework capacity within the National Capital Region (NCR), subject to Government approval.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to visit office, warehouse, and other FPS sites and measure spaces. Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer. Requires sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform related tasks.

Work Environment:

M ay operate in a hybrid telework capacity within the National Capital Region (NCR), subject to Government approval. Must reside within the National Capital Region and be able to report to the Alexandria or Springfield locations when required. May occasionally visit operational sites, potentially encountering extreme temperatures, airborne particles, fumes, chemicals, or loud noise.
