Full Job Description Leasing Consultant Schedule:
Part-Time | 24 hours a week Position Summary The Leasing Consultant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a multifamily apartment community with a primary focus on leasing, resident relations, and administrative support. This role serves as a key point of contact for prospective and current residents and plays an important role in driving occupancy and delivering excellent customer service. Core Responsibilities Assist the Community Manager with daily operations of the apartment community Answer incoming phone calls and respond to prospect and resident inquiries Perform general administrative duties and recordkeeping Support marketing efforts and leasing initiatives Maintain knowledge of apartment availability, unit condition, and rental pricing Conduct leasing activities, including: Greeting and assisting prospective residents Showing apartment homes and community amenities Assisting with applications and answering leasing-related questions Reviewing applications for completeness and submitting for screening Preparing leases and ensuring proper execution Accepting and recording resident payments Perform move-in and move-out inspections and complete condition reports with residents Maintain cleanliness of the leasing office and common areas Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and fair housing regulations Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Property Manager All responsibilities are performed under the direction and approval of the assigned Portfolio Manager, and duties may be adjusted based on operational needs. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Experience in leasing, customer service, sales, hospitality, or resident-facing roles preferred Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management software Reliable transportation, valid Washington State driver's license, and active auto insurance Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend Candidates who do not meet every qualification but possess relevant experience and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and tour the community for extended periods Frequent computer, phone, and in-person interaction Ability to conduct indoor and outdoor apartment tours
