As part of our continued success, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Right-of-Way Agent to support property acquisition and relocation services for federally funded transportation and infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity for experienced right-of-way professionals who are looking to grow their careers in a collaborative, employee-owned firm.
What You'll Do Key Responsibilities Include:
Deliver acquisition and relocation services in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Act and project-specific regulations Support federally funded transportation projects under the guidance of the Project Manager or project team Prepare real estate conveyance documents and conduct basic property research, including ownership and boundary details Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding acquisition and relocation matters Draft and manage project-related documents, reports, and correspondence Attend meetings and maintain organized project files and records Provide responsive customer service and clear communication to stakeholders
What We're Looking For Basic Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Background in real estate, title work or similar industry Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues Proven customer service expertise Exceptional organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (URA) 2+ years of experience in acquisition, negotiation, relocation or related real estate work Active Real Estate license in the state of Washington, Oregon, or Idaho Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to property acquisition The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative project-team environment, interchangeably supporting co-workers and engaging co-workers' support to meet the specific needs of a wide range of projects. The compensation range for this position is $72,500 - $82,500 annually. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, performance, location, and internal equity.
