Escrow Closer

Company Overview:

Our client is a Fortune 500 top organization seeking to bring on a Residential Escrow Closer for their growing Kenosha, WI team. This is an onsite position.

Job Summary:

The Escrow Closer coordinates and manages escrow closings for mostly residential transactions.

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service Input title and escrow information into title production software Calculate payoff amounts and taxes Compare escrow instructions to title requirements Communicate with underwriting staff to confirm closing requirements Ensure that all terms of escrow have been satisfied Confirm recordability of documents (e.g. proper signatures, notarizations, etc.) Record documents at closing and follow up on recorded documents Accept deposits for earnest money and invest depositor funds as instructed Prepare balance sheets, transfer funds, and communicate with

Accounting Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of real estate closing experience Experience at a law firm, lending institution, title insurance or real estate company Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, meticulous attention to detail. Excellent time management and organizational skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills etc.

Compensation & Benefits:
