Job Description

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for every phase of the leasing/occupancy process, including maintaining exceptional customer service with prospects and residents, marketing the property to meet occupancy goals, reviewing certifications and re-certifications, and reporting. We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position.
Pay:
$21-23/hour, dependent on experience. Prepare materials before the office opens. Serve residents by writing service requests, completing service call backs, and following through on special requests. Design campaigns to generate activity, cold call businesses to get leads, and decorate units to become show units. Attend social events and represent the property in a way that brings credibility to the site and staff. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in customer service, sales, or related field required; one year in a leasing position preferred. Sales experience with a proven track record. One (1) year of experience in affordable housing. Preferred Qualifications College or real estate-related supplemental courses. Occupancy certification. Excellent understanding of the occupancy standards and processes. Knowledge and Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Operate required technological systems that run the property, including multiple incoming phone lines. Stamina for fast paced working environment. This is a brief description of the position.
