Job Description
Job Summary We're looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable Bike Rental Associates to join our team on beautiful Martha's Vineyard for the upcoming season. In this role, you'll help customers choose rental bikes, provide excellent customer service, and keep our rental fleet clean, organized, and ready to ride. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, meeting new people, and being part of a fast-paced summer environment. Responsibilities Greet customers and assist with bike rentals and returns Recommend bikes, helmets, and accessories based on customer needs Process rentals, payments, and reservations Adjust seats and perform basic bike safety checks Keep bikes clean, organized, and ready for rental Maintain a clean and welcoming storefront Answer customer questions about local bike paths and island attractions Assist with inventory and daily shop operations Qualifications Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic mechanical knowledge of bicycles is a plus, but not required Must be able to lift and move bicycles Weekend and holiday availability preferred Perks Fun seasonal work environment Flexible scheduling Employee discounts Opportunity to work on Martha's Vineyard for the summer Great team atmosphere Pay Competitive hourly pay plus tips based on experience.
