Swansons' Repair Inc, a family-owned company that has grown over 60 years to include Bobcat, Scag, Stihl, Husqvarna, has an opening for a Parts/Rental Counter Person in Detroit Lakes, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing orders, and handling cash transactions. The ideal candidate should have a friendly and outgoing personality, be able to start and operate a variety of equipment, excellent computer skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service and has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Opportunity to advance into Equipment Sales.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Knowledge of rental equipment. Able to perform light small engine repairs. Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate information. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Operate cash register and process payments accurately. Keep track of inventory and restock shelves as needed. Assist with other tasks as assigned. Must be able to follow directions. Excellent customer service. Able to communicate and interact in a positive and professional manner. Basic Computer skills. Prefer experience in the rental industry. Sales experience preferred. Good interpersonal skills.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
